Hasn't functioned properly since installation. Had a repair person out to inspect nether warranty, defrosted the freezer and claimed that would solve the problem. Two weeks later the same thing, belongings food at 20 degrees, not -5 as it's set up. Currently waiting for another warranty repair person to come again. The expect for ane of their reps to come up inspect has been 4 days on average. That's too long to be without a properly operation freezer.

Very practiced freezer overall. Easily adjustable shelving inside. My only complaint is that when you open the door and the temperature drops a few degrees, the door becomes incredibly difficult to open again.

This freezer keeps and maintains temperatures as needed. Very sturdy and solid freezer. I am looking at buying a 2 door Avantco freezer. This beats all of the college priced models.

        

Purchased this machine and it was working good until one month in. Now the machine can't reach near 0 degrees, even if I set it to -one degrees. It isn't stable on temperature wise and I purchased warranty and left a voicemail, still no reply. Nosotros had items in our store that is required to exist in fix temperature to be best served such every bit ice cream, etc. I would reccomend if you have items that have jerk room for temperature control, if non I would just spend a extra couple hundred for a better freezer.

Keeps temperature well and provides lots of room for frozen product. The only issue I have is that it does not open for well-nigh 30 seconds later the door closes. Apparently in that location is some sort of suction created that prevents the door from existence opened too often. DO Non BUY THIS! SERIOUSLY!! We own several different pieces of avantco equipment & have not had any problems, just this freezer is GARBAGE! I hesitated when ordering based on the reviews & thought they should take it sorted out buy now. The freezer does not cool at all, I contacted webstaurant for help & they sent me to contact the manufacturer. I've reached out to the manufacturer 2 times with no help or update. Disappointed in Avantco since they haven't allow me down earlier but fifty-fifty more so in Webstaurant since Avantco is like a house brand for them & they haven't aided at all in a fixing the GARABE FREEZER they sold me. Nosotros have spent $50k + on the terminal year or so with them & it'due south distressing this is the service we accept received. Not recommended. Twice I have had the defroster fail which causes ice build-up and a failure to get to freezing temperature. I wish I had spent the actress money for a better brand and saved the hassle of making warranty claims, losing fourth dimension and food product. Chosen for warranty repair and they were helpful walking me through what it might have been, I had already checked those things. They assumed it was frozen over and needed defrosted only it was obvious there was no ice build up. Repair man came next day only to tell us information technology probably needed defrosted, he took It apart and unplugged it even though at that place was no visible ice build upward. He didn't return for 12 days! He spent five minutes here and said he would accept to order parts! We are at present at a point that the freezer has been downwardly longer than it worked.
